Description

From Lake d’Antorno, follow the road until you reach the mountain hut Malga Rinbianco, from where you hike uphill to the mountain lodge Rifugio Auronzo.

From here, following track 105, hike towards the gully Forcella Col de Medo along an easy path.

Then go uphill to the like-named col, from which you can see the magnificent mountain Croda Rossa d'Ampezzo from close up, and the northern faces of the three Lavaredo peaks.

The descent from Col de Medo takes you towards a valley and then brings you back to Malga di Rinbianco, on the same prepared track that you hiked on the outward trip. The route may present difficulties due to the distance, the total ascent and the variable conditions of the snow cover. Hikers are strongly recommended to seek assistance from mountain guides and to check snow and weather conditions before any trip. How to reach the starting point From Cortina d’Ampezzo, take the road towards the Tre Croci-Misurina Pass.

Continue beyond Lake Misurina, and a short distance after, turn off towards Lake d’Antorno where you can park.
